These Cuban landscapes were painted in the 19th century by the Spanish/Cuban
artist Miguel Arias Bardou (born c. 1841 Astorga, died 15.1.1915 Havana).
In addition to his landscapes, Arias was known for his scenery created
for the theatre. These paintings were researched for Christopher
